For New Practice Group’s newest office in Austin, we designed/painted this mural in their reception area.

Titled “Summertime”, this mural is an ode to Austin through two icons of the city - music and bats. Musical inspiration comes from musical notes from the local legend Janis Joplin’s rendition of Summertime while bats of Congress Avenue Bridge become an attraction for locals and tourists alike during the warm summer months.

Because we also curated the decor in the space, we knew we wanted a mural the would compliment the accents in the space. The abstract art piece has a young yet timeless feel, keeping it weird with a local Austin flair.
