Mission One is a non-profit located in the heart of Roosevelt Row district in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

Working globally, with national and indigenous leaders, Mission One aims to provide creative solutions, training, and support to help strengthen communities and bring hope to people in the hardest places.

For this project, the goal was to add conference room names to each door in a creative way. Because Mission One works around the globe, we became inspired by the textiles found in the countries they serve. Ghana, India, and Thailand to name a few.

Each textile is rich in their stories and recognizable from their motif and color-ways. Mural Mates designed 3 unique art pieces that pull inspiration found in these textiles to add color and pattern to this modern office space, as well as act as a conversation starter for the work they do in each country.
